The bespoke process is very different to buying a dress off the rack. This is a real 'falling in love' process and guaranteed to be everything you imagined.

At each stage your dream wedding dress becomes more of a reality and by the end you will have a dress individually designed and handmade to perfectly fit and flatter you.

The process starts with a complimentary consultation here at our Ampthill studio.

Your initial consultation is a relaxed and informal chat. We welcome you to bring a friend (or two!) so you can chat through ideas with our friendly team.

Some brides bring images from magazines or Pinterest boards. Don't worry if you don't have these, we have lots of samples here to look through and try on to get inspiration for fabrics, styles and colours.

At the end of the consultation, we will provide you with a complimentary design of your dress or bridal outfit to take away with you, as well as a no-obligation quote based on your design and choice of fabric.

The price of your dress will include fittings, fabrics and trims, with no hidden costs.

Once we’ve refined the details of your wedding dress design with you, we will take your measurements and make a toile of your dress for you to try on.

This will give you a true understanding of how your wedding dress will look on, and you can review the features of your dress such as the silhouette and neckline and make final decisions on trims and embellishments.

At this stage we are still able to make small amendments to the design of your wedding dress if necessary.

Your bespoke wedding dress is then made up over a further 2-3 fittings. Our brides have told us that they love the process of seeing their dress develop.

During these fittings we can also discuss ideas for veils or headpieces to match your wedding look.

Often at the final dress fittings brides choose to arrive with their planned wedding hair and makeup to really get a sense of how their vision will be pulled together on their big day.

Your dress will be completed a month before your wedding date, but we give you a final fitting a week before.

Your wedding dress will be packed according to the requirements of the bride and venue – some brides travelling abroad, for example, will need their wedding dress packed for flying.

At your final fitting we discuss tips for getting ready and how to prepare on your big day, as well as how to look after your dress after your wedding.
