We absolutely loved designing Becky’s wedding outfit, not only because she is a friend of Danielle’s but because her style and wedding was individual and personal throughout.

Becky and Adam wanted to combine traditional with contemporary for their wedding day. Which we think they did perfectly.

During the initial conversations, we learnt that she had tried on lots of dresses but found the ones with the drama she liked, were big and uncomfortable. The struggle was to find the perfect combination.

Becky did feel a slight pressure to conform to certain styles and traditions, but after much deliberation she decided to switch the skirt to a chiffon wide leg trouser.

The colour was made in Silver silk satin underneath with white over the top to soften the tone and give more depth to the look.

Because of the colouring and style of Becky’s hair, the silver worked perfectly! This was a conscious design choice in order to have a heavily embellished bodice top, which was made using a pre-beaded lace, rich in pearls and crystals.

Something Becky always knew she wanted was a cape. We Love a cape and so we were only too happy to oblige!

This was created between ourselves and our veil supplier Richard Designs

In order to help Becky decide on how embellished to make the cape, we were able to loan in two samples of long veils with scatterings or either crystals or pearls. After trying them on, it was clear that the only way to achieve the desired impact was to combine both!

We then designed the cape to have a scatter of pearls and crystals which were heavier at the bottom and sides of the tulle and then became more sparse at the top.
